D.156.3

by

MolteniC

When it comes to the D.156.3 armchair, Gio Ponti couldn't help but create architecture with a more human face, which we call the Latin touch. D.156.3 was produced for Altamira, an American company founded by the nephew of the Spaniard De Cuevas, and displayed in the company’s showroom in New York, along with furniture by Ico Parisi, Franco Albini, Carlo De Carli, Ignazio Gardella and others, chosen from among the most representative exhibitors at the 10th Milan Triennale. The frame is available in solid American walnut and Glossy black lacquered solid wood with Molteni&C range of upholstery collections.

A confluence of exemplary design, cutting-edge craft and great tradition, founded in 1934 in Italy. Over the years, Molteni has designed and built prototypes that have become mainstream, introduced new ways of crafting furniture systems that are architectural in every sense, and enlivened the homes of people who appreciate technique, detail and beauty.
