Tamara Härty

Koinor’s head designer and director of research and development since 2012, Tamara Härty specialises in industrial and conceptual furniture. The subject of psychotropics is something she develops and researches contributing to the understanding of the irrational perception of atmospheres, habitats, objects and architecture.

Kurt Beier

Academic and independent designer Kurt Beier is internationally renowned in the field of home interiors. He has been in the management team of Koinor since 1974. Beier founded his design studio in 1981.

Stefan Heiliger

Professor Stefan Heiliger’s work embodies calculated comfort, utmost ease, and a good dose of pragmatism. Recipient of many awards Heiliger believes that free forms are not designed for galleries and museums, but for the market. He is strongly influenced by his father Bernhard Heiliger, one of postwar Germany’s most important sculptors.

Frans Schrofer

With customers from all over the world Frans Schrofer is known for compact, distinguished, well thought out, and well constructed design pieces. He qualified from the Design Academy in Eindhoven, in 1983, and a few years later set up his own design studio.

Roberto Paoli

Good design award winning architect and designer Roberto Paoli specialises in small-scale design. His creative process combines a strong technical knowledge with a consciousness of the materials allowing him to innovate and give shape to products in clean lines. Alain Gilles

Alessandro Busana

After graduating in industrial design in 1999 Alessandro Busana worked for several important companies like Rollerblade, Fila, and Alessi before embarking on his creative design career in 2004. Winner of the Good Design Award and the Interior Innovation Award he creates products for prestigious national and international design companies.

Mario Mazzer

Much awarded Mario Mazzer has among a host of other awards, four Good Design Awards and four Red Dot Design Awards to his name. He has worked alongside some of the masters of Italian design and is one of the pivotal contemporary figures in industrial design and architecture.

Gio Ponti

Giovanni “Gio” Ponti, (Milan, November 18, 1891 - Milan, September 16, 1979), is one of the Italian masters of architecture. He was also a designer and essayist and one of the most important figures in design in the twentieth century.
Other than the great architectural works which carry his unmistakable signature, he created a vast amount of work in the furniture sector. He promoted industrial design and introduced the idea of interior furnishing ranges produced as being "sophisticated," economic, "democratic" and modern. Molteni&C managed a reissuing project of furniture and furnishings designed by Gio Ponti. After a long journey of research, selection and study of prototypes, the collection was exhibited at the Salone del Mobile 2012. This was thanks to the cooperation and the exclusively signed agreement of the Ponti heirs and the artistic director of Cerri & Associati Studio.

Patricia Urquiola

Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo in Spain. She graduated from the Milan Polytechnic in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni, and in 2001 opened her own studio. Being Spanish and yet an Italian designer has undoubtedly influenced her work. She brings together the rigor of her training in Milan with a creative side that comes from her roots. She designed architectures and products for international companies which were able to capture the public's attention. Patricia Urquiola received many awards and honours, such as the Wallpaper Design Award, the Elle Decor International Design Award and the Chicago Athenaeum Good Design Award. She has completed several projects and collections for Molteni&C. Her diamond table won the Red Dot Award for Best Product in 2005.

Jean Nouvel

Jean Nouvel was born in 1945 in Fumel, France. His approach to design comes from a need to create objects for his own architectures. This approach created the Less table which was produced by Molteni&C. for the headquarters of the Cartier Foundation. In 1981 he won the Institut du Monde Arabe competition in Paris. Since then he has received many awards including the Grand Prix National d'Architecture, the Gold Medal of the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Golden Lion of the Venice Biennale and the Pritzker Prize, the Nobel Prize for architecture in 2008.
